Focus and Scope

Jurnal Ilmiah Al Ilmu yang diterbitkan oleh Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) STIS Al-Aziziyah Sabang bekerjasama dengan Koordinator Perguruan Tinggi Islam Swasta di Wilayah Aceh (Kopertais Wilayah 5 Aceh) berfokus untuk menerbitkan artikel penelitian dalam studi Islam bidang dua kali setahun. Lingkupnya terdiri dari (1) teologi Islam; (2) hukum Islam; (3) pendidikan Islam; (4) mistisisme dan filsafat Islam; (5) ekonomi Islam; (6) Studi tafsir dan hadis; dan (7) Seni dan sejarah Islam.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism content. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using a Turnitin software. The research article submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript. The final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to reviewers' comments. Publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor in Chief by considering a sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as a thematic issue.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Publication Ethic

SHARIAH: Journal of Islamic Law is a scientific journal based on Open Journal Systems (OJS) stipulates the ethics of publication as follows:
Publisher Responsibilities:
1. Publishers are responsible for publishing articles after editing, peer review and layout by scientific journal publishing standards.
2. Publishers are responsible for ensuring the academic freedom of editors and reviewers in carrying out scientific work.
3. Publishers are responsible for maintaining the privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright as well as editorial freedom.

Editor's Responsibilities:
1. Editors are responsible for deciding articles to be published through editorial board meetings. Editors are guided by the policy council and editorial journals are limited by applicable law on defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
2. Editorial does not discriminate against race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, or ideology of political writers.
3. The editor and editorial team will not disclose information about the manuscript or article unless there is permission from the author.
4. Manuscripts (articles) that are not published after being proposed will not be used as research by the editor and will be returned directly to the author.

Author's responsibility:
1. The author must present articles or research results, honestly, and there is no plagiarism and data manipulation.
2. The author is responsible for confirming the article that has been proposed and written.
3. The author must comply with the publication requirements in the form of original work, no plagiarism, and has never been published in a journal or other publication.
4. The authors must show references for opinions and other literature cited.
5. The authors must write manuscripts or articles with ethical, honest and responsible responsibilities as valid scientific writing rules.
6. The authors are prohibited from sending similar articles to more than one journal or publication.
7. The author does not mind if the article is improved without changing the basic idea or substance of the article.

Reviewers based on Partnership:
Reviewers help editors make decisions about articles received.
1. Reviewers are responsible for providing recommendations on the articles being reviewed.
2. Manuscript review is carried out objectively and supported by clear arguments.
3. Reviewers maintain the confidentiality of information for personal gain.

 

Copyrights, Permissions, Reprints & Licensing

The journal is used license CC-BY or an equivalent license as the optimal license for the publication, distribution, use, and reuse of scholarly works.

This license permits anyone to compose, repair, and make derivative creation even for commercial purposes, as long as appropriate credit and proper acknowledgment of the original publication from scientific journals are made to allow users to trace back to the original manuscript and author.

Readers are also granted full access to read and download the published manuscripts, reprint and distribute the manuscript in any medium or format.

 

Author and Editing Fee Policy

Article Publication: 300.000 (IDR)

This journal charges the article publication fee for supporting the cost of wide-open access dissemination of research results, managing the various costs associated with handling and editing of the submitted manuscripts, and the Journal management and publication in general, the authors or the author's institution is requested to pay a publication fee for each article accepted.

Readers can read and download any full-text articles for free of charge. But authors may also pay some fees for the Ordered Original Reprint Articles (not reprint issue) with some eligible rates. For details about Original Reprint articles, please contact our team +6285277930976

 

Screening for Plagiarism Policy

To ensure the originality of the articles, The journal is used various plagiarism checkers available. The most common tools used are Google search engine, plagiarism checker, Turnitin, etc. Plagiarism check is conducted in the screening process of the submitted manuscripts. Only plagiarism-free manuscripts are sent to the assigned editor(s) to be followed up with the review process. Submissions with minor plagiarism issues will be notified to revise and resubmit, while manuscript with serious plagiarism issues will be rejected and archived.
